As an African-American male, not often do we concern ourselves with the overall health of our skin. I was skeptical about going into a place to have my skin looked at, however, I was introduced to LeLayah Health and Wellness by my wife, and I was very happy that she steered me to this service. I must say I am extremely happy with the quality of products, the service performance by the holistic aesthetician, Alyssa Jones, and the overall quality of her all natural and organic skincare products. The ionic foot detox, also has improved my sinus issues and increased my overall energy level! The atmosphere is both soothing and spiritual, and the minute you walk in the door, you feel a sense of peace. Ms. Jones is also highly educated and credentialed and definitely understands the nature of how to care for African-American skin. To all my brothers and sisters out there, Like me, looking for a place that’s geared towards African-Americans skin, with a high level of professionalism, with reasonable prices, and, if you are looking for a place for us where the level of professionalism exceeds your expectations then this is the spot for you!

 I have been struggling (acne) with my skin for years and years since age 14 ( I’m 24). After having dermatologist after dermatologist I discovered Alyssa. She is definitely heaven sent! She takes the time to not only treat your skin but she educates you as well about the products she’s using on your face, your skin type, what may be targeting your acne (inside out, poor diet, etc.), etc. The products are amazing and they work but most importantly, Alyssa ensures that she puts you on a specific facial regime that is suitable for your skin type. I was in need of some serious skin help as my skin was very dry. However, I didn’t have to tell Alyssa anything. She knew right away what I needed and tailored her services specifically to my unique skincare needs. I receive a mango paraffin facial, which was absolutely amazing. It left my face feeling moisturized without feeling greasy, and it left an excellent, refreshing glow to my face. I also received the ionic foot detox, which was something I had never heard of. Alyssa was very thorough in her explanation of the service. She provided materials for me to read, and explained each and every part of the service as she went through it. Her professionalism was impeccable, and she went above and beyond to ensure I had a relaxing experience.
